Project Overview This project focused on restoring and certifying an OSP fiber segment within a metro ring. The main priorities were low-loss splicing, clean enclosure organization, and traceable test documentation. Scope - Prepared and organized splice trays for a 24-core enclosure - Performed fusion splicing with consistent sleeve placement and tray routing - Verified continuity and loss using power meter checks - Completed end-to-end OTDR testing and recorded traces per fiber - Labeled fibers and delivered as-built documentation for maintenance teams Results The link was restored within the planned window and validated against expected loss budgets. The final handover included OTDR traces, measured losses, and clear labeling to reduce future troubleshooting time.
